Afends was born in 2006 in the small coastal town of Byron Bay, Australia. Declan Wise and Jono Salfield founded the brand with their small company that focused on printing band merch for Punk and Hardcore bands.
With the added culture of surfing and skateboarding to the punk and hardcore movement of 2006, the Afends ethos and style have shaped the look and feel that they still offer today. We have formed a global family of creative individuals united by a shared passion.
Afends is constantly evolving and constantly adapting. That is also the life motto of Afends; question everything. Their philosophy is not about educating people, but about inspiring people to educate themselves: do not believe everything you hear and see, but research and find the answers yourself.
