Sustainable ChromeFree Leather

The ChromeFree leather used in this shoe is smooth, lightweight, and environmentally friendly. Sourced from farms in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, it undergoes a unique tanning process that eliminates the use of chrome, heavy metals, and hazardous acids. This innovation significantly reduces the environmental impact of leather production.

By simplifying the tanning process, chemical and energy consumption is minimized, water usage is cut by approximately 40%, and salt consumption is reduced by 80%. Furthermore, the water used during tanning becomes recyclable, promoting a more circular and responsible production cycle.
