The Bataleon Stereo Team is a limited release snowboard built around progression driven freestyle riding. Developed in close collaboration with Ethan Morgan and Halldór Helgason, the Stereo Team represents a refined evolution of Bataleon’s freestyle platform, combining new construction methods with advanced 3D shaping.

At the core of the Stereo Team is the introduction of HyCap Construction. This hybrid approach blends full cap construction through the contact length for energy transfer and precision, with durable polyurethane sidewalls at the nose and tail for increased impact resistance. The result is a snowboard that feels lightweight and responsive underfoot while holding up to the repeated impacts and abuse that come with modern freestyle riding.

Bataleon has also pushed its shaping concept further on the Stereo Team. The board features Bataleon’s lowest 3BT™ base contour to date, paired with SideKick™ technology and a new MultiSync™ sidecut. This combination delivers smoother edge to edge transitions, faster response, and fewer hang ups. The ride feel stays playful when needed, yet controlled and powerful when pushing speed or loading up for takeoffs.

Performance is reinforced through a carefully tuned internal construction. The LightCore, using a 50/50 poplar and paulownia blend, balances strength and liveliness without unnecessary weight. Underfoot, carbon stringers run edge to edge beneath each binding, sharpening response and improving toe to heel transitions. A C.S.T. SuperTube™ placed down the center of the board enhances pop while keeping torsional stiffness in check, maintaining a freestyle friendly feel.

The Stereo Team is equipped with Bataleon’s Ultra Glide S sintered base, a high grade 7000 level base material reserved for premium models. This base is designed for durability and speed, maintaining glide through park laps, resort riding, and longer runouts. A Bi Ax laminate keeps the flex pattern playful and forgiving, encouraging creativity without feeling loose or unstable.

Camber with Triple Base: Designed for experienced riders who want precision, power, and added forgiveness, this shape combines classic camber’s pre-stressed energy with Triple Base Technology. The camber profile delivers strong edge hold, stability, and snap, while the subtly uplifted sidebases improve turn initiation and reduce edge catch. The result is an aggressive, responsive ride that still feels smoother and more controlled than traditional camber, especially in variable conditions.
