The Arc’teryx Rho LT Crew Neck in Black is a lightweight, thermally efficient base layer designed for performance in cool to cold conditions. Built from Torrent™ microfleece, it offers a balanced combination of warmth, softness, and breathability, making it a dependable next-to-skin layer for active days in the mountains or everyday cold-weather wear. The brushed interior enhances thermal efficiency and improves comfort, while the smooth exterior allows for clean, low-bulk layering under shells and midlayers.
The Rho LT uses a trim fit that stays close to the body, improving moisture transfer and allowing the fabric to perform efficiently during high-output movement. Despite its light weight, the Torrent material offers excellent stretch, helping the top move naturally with the body. Articulated patterning and gusseted construction support a full range of motion, making this base layer suitable for skiing, climbing, hiking, running, and general outdoor training.
Moisture management is one of the Rho LT’s key strengths. The fabric wicks sweat away quickly and dries fast, helping regulate body temperature when transitioning between effort and rest. To maintain freshness during extended wear or multi-day use, the base layer is treated with Polygiene® odour control technology, which helps manage bacteria buildup and keeps the garment smelling clean for longer.

The Rho LT is built with environmentally responsible materials, meeting bluesign® criteria and ensuring the fabric production aligns with strict safety and sustainability standards. It is also PFAS-compliant, eliminating harmful per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances often found in performance apparel.
