Korua Shapes Ten Years Of Turning Photo Book

With this book Korua celebrates a decade of KORUA Shapes through a photographic account from 2014 to 2024. “Ten Years Of Turning” is a visual representation and reflection of the essence, aesthetic and style of snowboarding that Korua has brought to the culture over the past decade. Similar to their films, the photos in this book aim to convey energy and motion, resulting in a collection of feelings that, as a whole, celebrate the act of snowboarding. Without many words necessary, these pages tell our brand’s story through the eyes (and lens) of our in-house photographer, Aaron Schwartz, who has accompanied Korua over the last 10 years.

In his own words:

“It is my hope and intention to capture and communicate the simple beauty of turning and movement on snow, the joyful emotions we all associate with snowboarding, the intricate details and subtleties of our surroundings in the mountains, the sense of community we feel, and the friendships and connections we build by sliding sideways down snow on a plank of wood. This is my tribute to turning, to my friends, and to Korua.”
