Osprey Escapist Frame Bag Black

The Escapist Frame Bag Medium is built for riders who want to carry tools, layers and compact camp equipment inside the bike’s main triangle without compromising access. In the imported Medium size, it offers 3.5 litres of usable space and a structured shape that stays easier to pack than a soft, collapsing pouch. The narrow profile keeps the load central, which is useful on long gravel rides, mixed-surface tours and multi-day bikepacking routes.

Osprey uses 100% recycled 210D nylon with a water-shedding DWR treatment made without PFAS. Combined with RF-welded seams and waterproof zippers, this creates highly water-resistant protection for changeable weather. It is not a substitute for a fully submersible dry bag, so electronics and other moisture-sensitive items should still be packed separately when prolonged heavy rain is expected.

Access is deliberately practical. A double-ended zipper on the right lets you open the bag from the front or rear while the bike is loaded. On the left, an organiser panel keeps smaller essentials from collecting at the bottom. Bright, glove-friendly pulls and deep zipper garages make operation clearer in poor light, while reflective details add visibility without turning the bag into a high-visibility accessory.

Multiple soft hook-and-loop attachment points let you adapt the position to different frame layouts and help limit scratching. Before purchase, measure the clear space inside your frame and allow room for bottles, cables and suspension movement. The Medium bag measures 14 × 45 × 9 cm; frame geometry matters more than the nominal bicycle size. Secure every strap firmly and check for movement after the first kilometres.
