The Patagonia R4® Yulex® Round Toe Surf Booties are essential for surfers active in cold waters. These surf shoes are made from 85% Yulex® natural rubber and 15% synthetic rubber, providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional neoprene. The natural rubber is Forest Stewardship Council® certified, contributing to more sustainable production.

Materials and Sustainability
The booties feature a thermal microgrid lining made from 95% polyester (51% recycled) and 5% recycled elastane, offering quick drying and excellent warmth. The exterior lining is made from 88% recycled polyester and 12% recycled elastane, and all fabrics are laminated with solvent-free AquaA™ glue.

Design and Functionality
The booties have a round toe design for maximum warmth and a Y-strap closure that conforms to the foot for a snug fit. The microgasket at the cuff opening prevents water entry. The diamond-grip, non-marking soles provide increased traction.

Ease of Use and Versatility
The R4® Yulex® Surf Booties are lightweight at only 499 grams and are made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory in Thailand, meaning the workers received a premium for their labor.

Care Instructions
For maintaining the booties, hand wash is recommended. Do not bleach, air dry, and do not iron.
