The upper uses GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit technology, providing reliable waterproofing while maintaining breathability and flexibility. This construction helps keep your feet dry on wet ground without the stiff or bulky feel often associated with waterproof footwear. Reinforced zones offer added durability in high wear areas, while the integrated D-ring allows easy attachment of gaiters when conditions demand extra protection.

Underfoot, the Peregrine 16 GTX is equipped with PWRRUN cushioning, delivering a balanced combination of comfort and trail protection. The increased foam volume helps absorb impact and reduce fatigue over longer distances, while still preserving ground feel and responsiveness. A PWRRUN+ insole adds an extra layer of comfort for all day runs and extended trail sessions.

Traction is handled by a Vibram® MegaGrip outsole with a 4mm lug profile, designed to perform across a wide range of surfaces. From wet rock to loose dirt and mixed terrain, the outsole provides dependable grip and durability, allowing confident foot placement even in challenging conditions. The shoe features a 4mm offset (32mm heel, 28mm forefoot), supporting a natural and stable running stride on uneven trails.
