The Stranda Makrill is a unique snowboard inspired by the mackerel – one of the fastest fish in the North Atlantic. Designed for riders seeking pure fun in deep powder, between trees, or on mellow groomers, it’s Stranda’s purest powder shape yet, featuring a pronounced fish shape and long powder nose for excellent float.

The board is volume shifted, allowing you to ride it 6–8 cm shorter than your usual length without sacrificing stability or float. The core is poplar with bamboo stringers for a responsive, lightweight feel. Triaxial fiberglass and carbon torsion rods add stiffness and damping. The Makrill features a high-gloss bamboo topsheet and striking green PU sidewalls for protection and flair.

The rocker/camber/rocker profile with a short camber underfoot and long rockers in tip and tail delivers a surfy ride, while PowerBumps® at the inserts provide extra grip on icy or variable conditions. The sintered Durasurf 4001 base ensures speed and durability.
