It comes from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and is tanned in Brazil without harmful or prohibited chemicals. Veja also uses dyes that meet regulations and prioritises responsible water use during the tanning process. To improve day-to-day performance, the suede is finished with PFC-free water-repellent oils, helping protect the shoe from light rain without changing its natural character.

Underfoot, the V-90 is designed with a material mix that balances comfort and durability. The insole combines Amazonian rubber, bio-based E.V.A., including sugarcane-derived content, organic cotton, and other components. This creates a supportive base suited to regular, repeated wear. The outsole uses a high proportion of Amazonian rubber, combined with mineral silica, synthetic rubber, and other materials for dependable traction and structure. Inside, a 100% recycled polyester lining supports everyday comfort, while 100% organic cotton laces complete the build with a considered finish.
