The YETI Roadie 24 2.0 is a compact hard cooler built for day trips, car travel, and daily outdoor use where space matters as much as cold retention. This 24L class cooler is designed to be tall enough for most standard wine bottles and upright two-litre soft drink bottles, making it a practical option for road trips, picnics, beach days, and campsite setups. YETI positions the Roadie 24 as a cooler with more storage while taking up less room, and its shape is intended to fit easily behind a car seat, which makes it especially useful when packing tight interiors.

For transport, the cooler uses the brand’s DoubleDuty strap, built for easier carrying and day-to-day handling. The integrated LipGrip handles stay out of the way when loading and unloading, while BearFoot non-slip feet help keep the cooler stable on a boat deck, in the car, or on harder ground. When it is time to empty out melted ice or rinse the interior, the BestDam drain plug gives quick drainage with a leak-resistant closure.

Access is straightforward thanks to the QuickLatch system, which allows one-handed opening for faster use when you are moving between stops. Inside, YETI’s cold-retaining construction combines PermaFrost insulation, an InterLock lid system, and a ColdLock gasket, a set-up designed to hold internal temperature from the moment the cooler is packed and to keep external heat out.

Capacity is well judged for shorter trips or smaller groups. The Roadie 24 fits 33 cans, cans only, or up to 11.8 kg of ice, ice only. It is a strong option if you want a hard cooler that remains portable, fits easily into everyday transport, and handles food and drink storage without wasting space.
