Liner Gloves
Liner gloves add a flexible inner layer to your winter handwear. Worn beneath a compatible glove or mitten, they let you adjust your setup to the conditions. Our selection brings together merino liners from Behind The Pines, Hestra and Pow, alongside replacement linings for specific Hestra models. Choose by construction, fit and compatibility.
Thin undergloves and replacement linings
These products serve different purposes. A thin liner, such as the Behind The Pines Performance Merino Liner or Hestra Merino Touch Point, is designed to sit close to the hand beneath suitable outer handwear. Some thin liners can also be worn alone for mild, dry conditions. A replacement lining, such as the Hestra Wakayama Wool Liner or Patrol Liner Mitt, is designed for a particular glove or mitten. Always check the matching model and size.
Merino, wool and synthetic options
Merino offers a soft inner layer and helps manage moisture during changing activity levels. Blends use additional fibres for properties such as strength and stretch. Wool terry and insulated synthetic replacement linings have a different construction and take up more space than a thin underglove. Compare the material and intended use in each product description. Touchscreen compatibility is a feature of selected models, rather than the whole collection.
Check the fit of both layers
Try the liner and outer glove together. You should be able to close your hand comfortably without compressing the insulation or restricting movement. Adding a thicker liner to an already close-fitting glove can reduce comfort. Do not assume every liner fits every glove, or automatically size up. A five-finger underglove may work inside a mitten if there is enough room; replacement mitten linings need the correct outer model.
Care and choosing your setup
Remove compatible removable linings after use to let the layers air and dry separately. Follow each care label, particularly for wool, and avoid direct heat. Visit our Ceintuurbaan or Rozengracht stores in Amsterdam for advice on combining layers. For wet snow or rain, the outer glove or mitten must provide the required weather protection; a liner supplies an inner layer.
