The Hestra Fall Line 5-Finger is a staple in the freeride world, known for its durability, warmth, and clean under-cuff fit. Built from impregnated cowhide leather, it delivers a blend of grip, protection, and long-term resilience that performs across the full winter season. This Brown colorway highlights the natural leather character and is part of Hestra’s Alpine Pro collection, designed for skiers and snowboarders who demand both comfort and control.
The shorter neoprene cuff fits smoothly under a jacket sleeve, preferred by riders who want a streamlined connection between glove and outerwear. Outseam stitching improves comfort and grip on poles, while the leather construction offers a stable feel in both cold mornings and warmer spring conditions.
Inside, the Fall Line features a removable synthetic liner that is easy to wash and quick to dry. The liner uses a combination of G-Loft insulation, brushed polyester, and Bemberg, creating a warm and breathable interior suitable for a wide range of temperatures. With a warmth rating of 5 out of 8, the glove strikes a strong balance between insulation and mobility, making it suitable for resort laps, off-piste lines, and touring missions.
The glove maintains a durability rating of 6 out of 8, reflecting the toughness of the cowhide and Hestra’s reinforced construction. Despite this robust build, mobility remains high thanks to the ergonomic shaping and flexible leather, earning a mobility score of 6 out of 8.
Functional details include a wrist strap to prevent accidental drops from the lift, a carabiner for hanging the gloves when not in use, and secure attachment points for handcuffs. These small but meaningful features make the Fall Line a practical companion on active days in the mountains.
This model is favored by freeriders who prefer a glove that works just as well in deep snow as it does on groomed runs, with a feel that becomes more comfortable the more it is worn. It is also available in mitt, three-finger, and women’s versions for riders who prefer different silhouettes or warmth levels.
The Brown version offers a clean, timeless leather look that develops character with use, delivering both performance and style throughout the season.
