Built in collaboration with Sage Kotsenburg, Olympic gold medalist and dedicated backcountry explorer, this model captures his freeride mindset while delivering Oakley’s most advanced optical engineering to date. With a bold strap design inspired by Sage’s creative style and backcountry driven approach, this edition embodies adaptation, precision, and uncompromising performance.
A completely reengineered conical lens sits closer to the face to provide a significantly wider field of view. Riders gain 60 percent more peripheral vision compared to the Line Miner, creating an immersive visual window that enhances terrain reading in tight chutes, deep powder zones, and variable light. The Prizm Snow Black Iridium lens is optimized for bright, high glare conditions and refines contrast to reveal subtle features in complex snow textures.
Comfort and fit are elevated through the Vision Rapt 3D molded face foam, designed to contour the face without pressure points. This foam stays outside the visual perimeter and provides stable comfort during long days in variable mountain climates. The flexible bio resin O Matter frame maintains its structural integrity in extreme cold while fitting securely with modern helmets.
Clarity remains consistent across changing conditions thanks to a laminated anti fog coating that is fused directly onto the lens surface. This construction reduces optical distortion and keeps the view sharp when temperature and moisture levels fluctuate. An included extra lens, Prizm Snow Iced Iridium, expands adaptability by offering improved visibility in mixed or icy light.
When conditions shift, Oakley’s Switchlock system allows fast, confident lens changes using two mechanical locks. Unlike magnet based systems, this mechanism keeps the lens fully secured while maximizing uninterrupted field of view.
This Signature Series edition is also built with attention to environmental impact. The frame uses bio based materials, the strap is constructed with recycled polyester, and the goggles come packaged in a recycled microfiber bag along with a protective storage case designed to extend product life.
