The Secrid Slimwallet Vintage Taupe refines the traditional billfold into a slimmer, more practical format for everyday carry. Its compact profile sits flat in the pocket, while the open leather exterior keeps the design clean and accessible. Without buttons or magnets, the wallet stays straightforward in use and leaves room for essentials such as additional cards, folded banknotes, business cards, and receipts.

This version is finished in Secrid’s Vintage leather, made from European cowhide with an abraded and waxed surface. The result is a subtle stonewashed appearance with a soft, worn-in character from the start. Because the leather is aniline dyed and wax finished, it will continue to develop a natural patina through regular use, giving each wallet a more individual surface over time.

At its core is Secrid’s patented aluminium Cardprotector, the functional element that defines the Slimwallet. It holds up to 6 flat cards or 4 embossed cards and protects them against bending, breaking, and unwanted wireless communication, including RFID and NFC skimming. A simple patented mechanism fans the cards out in one controlled motion, making daily access quick and precise.

The leather wrap expands the storage capacity without significantly changing the overall footprint. In total, the Slimwallet offers space for up to 6 additional cards alongside cash and paper items, making it a strong option for users who want a compact wallet without reducing everyday functionality.

Production takes place in the Netherlands and Italy, with attention to both environmental impact and responsible manufacturing. The wallet is built for long-term use and tested for at least 1,000,000 operations. CO2 emissions from production are fully compensated, and each piece carries a unique serial number. Secrid also backs the Slimwallet with a two-year warranty, with an additional year available upon registration.

The Vintage leather requires minimal care. If exposed to water, it should simply be patted dry with a soft cloth. For those who want to expand the setup, optional accessories such as a Coinpocket or tracker card can be added separately.
