The MISC. was designed with a clear goal, to help surfers progress without stripping away performance. Rather than softening the ride, this board delivers a true performance twin experience that maintains the control and top to bottom approach of a modern shortboard. It blends speed, drive, and release into a shape that feels fast underfoot while remaining dependable through critical sections.
Unlike traditional twins that favour down the line surfing, the MISC. is tuned to hold and respond when pushed harder. Its outline and rocker work together to create a board that flies through sections with minimal drag, yet stays composed when transitioning rail to rail. The feeling is unmistakably quick and free, particularly above the lip where release comes easily, but without sacrificing the ability to set a clean line.
The MISC. benefits from a flat rocker, allowing it to plane efficiently across surface chop and weaker sections. This translates directly into speed generation, making it easier to link turns and make sections that would normally require extra effort. Despite its speed focused nature, the board retains control when surfing more vertically, giving it a familiar feel for riders coming from thruster based performance boards.
As a 2+1 configuration, the MISC. combines the natural speed and looseness of a twin with added hold when needed. This setup allows surfers to push harder through turns while maintaining confidence when approaching steeper parts of the wave. It is best suited to surfers who understand wave positioning and enjoy maximising each section rather than relying on raw power.
Built using FutureFlex Technology, the MISC. gains a distinct performance advantage. The stringer-less EPS core is laminated with biaxial fiberglass and epoxy resin, reinforced by a parabolic carbon fiber frame. This construction is designed to store and release energy through turns, increasing speed and drive while reducing unwanted twist. The result is a lively, responsive board that feels dynamic under pressure and smooth through transitions.
The MISC. performs across all conditions, particularly excelling in flat to head high waves. From beach breaks to reef and point setups, it remains adaptable and predictable, making it a strong option for surfers looking to introduce a high performance twin into their quiver.
Fins are not included, allowing riders to fine tune their setup based on conditions and personal preference.
