Merrell Moab Speed 2 Vent 2K Navy

The Merrell Moab Speed 2 Vent 2K is a lightweight trail shoe built for warm conditions, mixed terrain, and everyday outdoor use. Drawing from the Moab line and adapted for a more ventilated, fast-moving format, it combines breathable construction with practical trail protection. In Navy, this version keeps the overall design clean and functional, suited to hiking, day walks, and general use where airflow and comfort matter.

The upper is made from breathable mesh, synthetic material, and TPU, creating a structure that feels open without losing support. This combination helps manage heat during longer walks or repeated use in warmer weather, while still giving the shoe enough stability for uneven ground. Protective abrasion-resistant rubber at the toe and heel reinforces high-wear zones and adds durability where trail contact is most frequent.

Underfoot, the shoe uses a FloatPro™ foam midsole for lightweight cushioning with a balanced trail feel. A built-in rock plate adds another layer of protection, helping reduce pressure from stones, debris, and rough surfaces. Together, these elements give the Moab Speed 2 Vent 2K a setup that feels prepared for technical ground without becoming overly heavy or rigid.

The outsole is finished with Vibram TC5+, a compound formulated for Merrell and developed for multisport outdoor traction. It is designed to provide dependable grip across varied terrain, making the shoe a solid option for changing trail conditions and regular off-road wear. A removable EVA foam footbed adds everyday comfort and also makes the shoe easier to air out between uses.

Recycled materials are integrated throughout key areas of the build, including the laces, webbing, lining, footbed cover, and footbed construction. This keeps the material package more considered while maintaining the shoe’s intended performance. Cleansport NXT™ treatment supports natural odour control, a useful detail for frequent wear, travel, or extended time outdoors.
