The Nikwax Tech Wash® & TX.Direct® Wash-In Twin Pack is a complete care system designed to clean, reproof, and restore the performance of waterproof outdoor clothing. Developed to maintain water repellency and breathability, this twin pack helps extend the life and effectiveness of wet weather gear through simple wash-in application.

The process starts with Tech Wash®, a specialist cleaner formulated specifically for technical fabrics. Unlike conventional detergents, it removes dirt and body oils without leaving residues that interfere with performance. Cleaning with Tech Wash® not only refreshes fabrics, it also helps revive existing Durable Water Repellency (DWR) on newer or lightly used garments, restoring their ability to shed water and breathe effectively.

Once garments are clean, TX.Direct® Wash-In adds a high performance water repellent finish. This treatment renews DWR, helping outer fabrics resist water absorption and preventing the fabric from wetting out. By keeping the outer layer dry, TX.Direct® supports breathability, allowing moisture vapour to escape and helping you stay warmer and drier during activity. The wash-in formula is easy to use in both washing machines and hand wash, and does not require tumble drying to activate.

This twin pack is suitable for a wide range of waterproof gear, including jackets, trousers, gloves, and synthetic sleeping bags. Both products are non-flammable and PFAS free, making them a safer choice for users and the environment.
