The Ride Vantum 2027 is a directional all-mountain snowboard for intermediate and advanced riders who want one board for groomers, side hits and powder. Its medium response gives it a balanced place in the Ride range: supportive enough for purposeful turns, with room to change pace across a normal resort day. The Vantum is designed to be ridden in a traditional length. Choose the appropriate size for your weight and boots rather than automatically downsizing it like a specialised short powder shape.
The Standard Camber profile uses a slight traditional camber zone for a responsive feel. Combined with the directional shape and tapered quadratic sidecut, it creates a board focused on forward riding, smooth turn entry and useful float when the snow softens. The camber illustration below explains the profile family; it is a guide rather than a scale drawing of this model.
The distinctive Urethane Channel fills milled sections of the core near the nose with urethane to reduce chatter in chopped snow. Slimewalls and Roll-In Construction support the sidewall structure. A wood Performance Core, Hybrid Glass and Zonal Carbon Rails balance response and construction strength. The Sintered 4000 base has a stone-ground finish and rewards regular waxing, rounding out a versatile board for the 2026/2027 season.
Choose the size around your actual setup. Rider weight, boot footprint and riding style are more useful starting points than height alone. A longer board generally gives more platform and stability, while a shorter option feels easier to manoeuvre; the right balance depends on how and where you ride. Check toe and heel overhang with your own boots and binding angles, rather than relying only on the printed shoe size. Set the bindings using the board's reference position as a sensible starting point, then adjust deliberately.
Keep the base maintained. A sintered base benefits from regular waxing suited to the snow temperature. Dry the board and edges after use, inspect the base for damage and store it somewhere dry. A consistent tune matters when you want predictable glide and edge contact through changing conditions.

Yes, it is ideal for natural jumps on the slopes and in the backcountry and occasionally in the fun park.
You should wax your snowboard when the base looks dry or white, or after every 3–5 days on the snow for the best performance. Fresh wax keeps your board fast and protects it from damage.
