The Beatnik LTD is Danimals’ signature snowboard in its most exclusive form, released as part of the very first prototype run and available only through a small number of selected retailers. This limited edition keeps the core philosophy of the Beatnik intact, while adding collectability and provenance tied directly to its earliest production phase.
Designed as a Directional Twin Resort Freestyle board, the Beatnik LTD is built to be ridden everywhere on the mountain with a loose, creative mindset. It is shaped for riders who value freedom over rigid use cases, offering an aggressive yet carefree feel that adapts naturally to changing terrain. Side hits, rollers, berms, rope ollies, and full top to bottom park laps all fall within its comfort zone.
The construction balances pop, durability, and stability. A Pop-lownia Core keeps the board lightweight and responsive, while integrated Bamboosters enhance snap and energy return without making the flex feel nervous. Biax Glass provides a smooth, forgiving torsional feel, allowing the board to stay predictable when riding fast or pressing features. To reinforce high impact zones, Titanal Impact Plates are added, increasing long term durability during repeated park and resort riding.
The profile combines Traditional Camber with early rise in the nose and tail, delivering reliable edge hold and drive underfoot while keeping turn initiation fluid and forgiving. The directional shape paired with a centered stance and zero setback ensures the board rides balanced in both directions, maintaining freestyle versatility while still offering control at speed.
A Sintered Base rounds out the package, delivering fast glide and strong durability for riders who put in consistent days on snow. With a flex rating of 7 out of 10, the Beatnik LTD sits in the mid stiff range, offering enough backbone for aggressive riding while staying accessible for creative freestyle lines.
The artwork on this LTD version originates from personal illustrations provided by Danimals’ father, adding a deeply personal layer to the board’s identity. Combined with subtle additions by Josh, the graphic reinforces the idea of riding for expression rather than restriction.
