The Secrid Cardprotector Hammerstone in Azure is the most compact wallet in the Secrid range and the functional core of the entire system. Designed to provide fast, secure access to your cards, it combines minimalist form with precise mechanical engineering, resulting in a durable everyday essential.

At the heart of the Cardprotector is Secrid’s patented mechanism, which allows cards to slide out smoothly with a single movement. This ensures immediate access while keeping cards firmly in place when not in use. The Cardprotector holds up to six cards, depending on embossing, making it ideal for those who prefer to carry only the essentials.

The housing is made from aluminium, offering strong protection against bending, breaking, and unwanted wireless communication. Built in RFID protection shields cards from skimming, providing added security in daily environments such as public transport, travel, and urban use. Despite its robust construction, the Cardprotector remains slim and lightweight, fitting easily into pockets or bags.

The Hammerstone finish sets this version apart. The powder coated surface is inspired by mechanical tools and industrial machinery, giving the aluminium a tactile, textured appearance. This coating process also supports waste reduction, as it allows the upcycling of lightly damaged aluminium that would otherwise be discarded. Each Cardprotector therefore combines visual character with a more responsible production approach.

Assembly takes place in the Netherlands, in social employment workshops, reinforcing Secrid’s focus on ethical production and long term product responsibility. The Cardprotector is designed to be easy to repair, supporting Secrid’s belief that repair is preferable to replacement. When registered, the product is also eligible for extended warranty.

Finished in Azure, the Hammerstone Cardprotector adds subtle color to an otherwise industrial surface, balancing technical precision with a refined visual identity. It can be used on its own or combined with other Secrid wallets and accessories as part of a modular system.
